GOD, MAN AND THE MISCONCEPTION

(O prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. ( AdDuha93:3)

I ended my last story with this verse of the esteemed Quran e Majeed, as mentioned that Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala has not forsaken Muhammad (peace be upon him) and He is not displeased with Him (peace be upon him). During nabuwaat for few days a gap was observed when no ayahs were revealed whereupon the infidels said that Allah has abandoned you (Muhammad PBUH) but this surah broke the silence and reassured Muhammad (peace be upon him) that all will be understood in time. The first three ayahs comforted him(peace be upon him) by the assurance that God is with him(peace be upon him).

Moving further the lesson that we have to elicit from this is that God does not abandon His believers nor is He displeased with them. Moving a bit further from the topic we can conclude that God does not abandon man, it is always the man who abandons himself.

How man abandons himself? when a person knows that a particular thing is harmful to him and he at any cost should abstain himself from it but he eludes this reflection and goes for that thing which is guaranteed to cause him danger then in this scenario he abandons himself. Taking the example of a student; he knows that if he won’t study for his course he would confront severe consequences (in the present or in the future) but he keeps on having an ignorant attitude and consequently, he has abandoned himself. Furthermore, every day a person at many circumstances abandons himself and lives an ignorant life, as a result when he faces the results of his doings he turns to the other side of the situation and goes on disparaging his fate and God’s decisions about his life, that his luck was not with him and so on other irrational talks.

In a response to this my above mentioned statement comes and unclogs all the misconceptions.

In any case, it is not the mercy or providence of God that is abandoned and a person goes through rough patches but it is always the man who has mistaken and forsaken himself.

I confronted all this situation back in November 2020, like all other insane people I went on lambasting the situation and accumulated other insensible reflections but later on it was me who determined that all this does not make a difference and it was me who’s the apple of discord!!

To clear another suspicion that if He has not abandoned me then why I have confronted all this, then the response was, all this is due to His providence or else things can worsen further.

For a person having staunch conviction in Allah, this is a reminder that God does not abandon him it is he who abandons himself if any bad happenings occur and he should comply with the universal fact,

لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله

THERE IS NO MIGHT NO POWER EXCEPT WITH ALLAH
