LENIENCY FROM GOD
Allah desires to show leniency to you and does not desire to show any hardship. (Al-Baqarah 2:185)
Continuing from the last story’s theme about hardships and how to tackle them, we come here to this part of the blessed Quran. This is taken from the ayah of Al-Baqarah before which Allah Jalla Jalaluhu directs that Ramadan is the month in which the Quran was sent down, this book is a perfect guidance for mankind … Secondly, it directs the Muslims to fast in the month of Ramadan and after that Allah commands of making up for the missed days of fast if someone is ill or on a journey. After these directives this part comes where Allah ensures that His desire is to show leniency and not to show any hardship.
Concerning with this part, where it is vividly mentioned that Allah does not desire to show trials or hardships for the believers we can elicit that it is useless to vent over trials when his God’s keen desire is to show leniency rather than hardships.
So, what to do in such circumstances, when a person can not see anything, is going through the worst experiences? It is simple to show steadfastness and have firm believe that his God will not abandon him and above all in this trial there is not any hardship as He has mentioned it, but clemency.
All hardships are there for you to make you stronger and to revive your firm believe in Allah’s providence, mercy and power. That particular trial is also for that purpose and after some time good days will come and you will be blessed.
The only thing that a person can do in such circumstances is not to succumb to his problems and not to crumble but to show his sheer steadfastness, conviction that Allah will not abandon him and wit to analyze the situation and act accordingly.
