The Inevitable Pain

He opened his eyes and checked the phone; it was 10.47 pm. From the last two hours, he was trying to sleep but couldn’t; he again looked at the time, “What weird timing.”
He then turned his head straight, facing the ceiling; he could see the white ceiling; on the right side of his head was his phone, and on the left side, there was the wall. He then looked at the fan; it was still full of dirt, it was mid-December, and they don’t need fans in this season. Instead, heaters are required, but he didn’t have one. He then closed his eyes, after a few minutes, he again opened his eyes.
He was continuously in a state of distress, confused about what to do, but this wasn’t his first time; he had felt the same pain last week; it was happening at the frequency of 2–3 times per week.
The painkilling his peace was like someone killing him, continuously stabbing him in the abdomen. He closed his eyes again, took a deep breath, got up from the bed, and looked at the front door. His hands were trembling; he could not move; he again checked his abdomen there everything was alright.
“What is this?” He said to himself.
He stood up, moved to the door, and then came back to take his phone to play his playlist. The song started playing; it was a sweet one having a smooth melody.
He went to the mirror and looked at himself; he stared at his image for more than 5 minutes.
“What’s happening here? I know it, I’ve felt it, I know it, I’ve felt it…..” He continuously said these words to him. Then he sat on the cold floor looking at the front wall; he stared at the wall.
A person sitting next to him, having a dagger stabbing him continuously in his abdomen, the blood coming out, the attacker’s hands were filled with blood, there’s blood everywhere. Someone was killing him; someone was killing him…
All this distress, the baffled state continued for one hour, and then he collapsed and woke up in the morning.
He stood from his place; there was no blood on the floor, everything was fine. He looked at the mirror, “it was meant to pass, and so it passed.” He said to himself and went to the bathroom to get dressed up for his classes.
In the end, you are all alone, there’s no one around you, and you alone have to deal with the pain or distress. You’ve to deal with it; you’ve to face it all alone, you can’t escape from it.No matter how many friends you’ve, no matter how social you’re, in the end, you are all alone with your distress.
